(MERCED, CALIFORNIA) The UC Merced Men's Basketball team hosted and participated in their first ever playoff game on Wednesday, February 20, 2013.  The Bobcats played great team basketball and secured their first ever playoff win 73-54, against the Pacific Union College Pioneers.

The Women's Basketball team finished off their regular overall season play 3-20 (2-8 in conference play).  As the fifth ranked team in the Cal Pac the Bobcats will be traveling to Vallejo, CA on Wednesday, February 20^th at 7:30pm to take on #4 Cal Maritime Keelhaulers for the first round of the conference tournament.

(MERCED, CA) The Bobcats faced off against the top ranked William Jessup University Warriors Saturday, February 16^th in their second meeting of the season. The last time these two teams met up the Warriors dominated the game as they cruised to victory defeating the Bobcats by the final score of 81-50.

(MERCED,CALIFORNIA) UC Merced Men's Basketball team faced the visiting Simpson University Red Hawks on Thursday, looking to secure a sweet Valentine's Day treat.
